AMSTERDAM — The former Amsterdam Price Chopper, located at 141 Sanford Farms Plaza off Route 30, has been renovated into the Golub Corporation’s newest Market 32 store.

This is the 20th Market 32 store to open, either as a newly constructed store or as a remodeled Price Chopper, according to a Golub Corporation news release.

The Market 32 brand will mean both aesthetic and product changes for the grocery store. Market 32 stores are marked by their “open space” concepts, with soft earth tone decor, displays, murals and lighting.

The stores emphasize convenience, with ready-to-eat foods, and fresh, locally grown and produced products.

“Our customers continue to respond very positively to our new Market 32 stores, Scott Grimmett, Price Chopper president and CEO, said in a news release.
