COLONIE — Three people — two women and a man — were arrested Sunday in connection with a Dunkin Donuts robbery and an earlier heist at a Mobil Mart, police said.
Police were called to Dunkin Donuts, 392 New Karner Road, just after 6:30 p.m. for a report of an armed man and woman robbing two employees of cash in the register, police said. The suspects then got into a car driven by a third person and they fled.
Responding officers found the car within 10 minutes and arrested all three individuals, police said. The three were also linked to an April 16 robbery at the Mobil Mart, 1351 Central Ave., and charged with that as well.
Police identified the suspects as Gary L. Arrington, 36, his wife, Jessica L. Arrington, 24, and Kate-Lynn A. Newbeck, 21, all of 5 Bleeker Terrace, Apt. 119. Gary Arrington and Newbeck went into the stores, while Jessica Arrington remained in the car, police said.
They each face charges of first-degree robbery and first-degree criminal use of a firearm, felonies.
