DOT: Schenectady train station work to impact traffic this weekend

SCHENECTADY — Water and gas line work for the new Schenectady rail station will reduce Erie Boulevard to one lane in each direction between State and Liberty streets this weekend, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The lanes will be closed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

Construction on the new train station began earlier this year and is expected to conclude in November.
