MIDDLEBURGH — The annual Middleburgh Sloughter 5k Run will begin at 7 p.m. on May 25, during Fourth Friday events in the village.
Proceeds from the run will benefit the Center for Donation and Transplant at Albany Medical Center, in memory of local resident Kayla Urrey, who died in 2016 and donated organs. The Middleburgh Rotary Club, which organizes the run, hopes to attract 500 walkers or runners.
People may register for the run at www.middleburghrotaryny.org/sloughter5k.html
The run begins and ends at the Middleburgh High School.
