Water main break shuts down road in Scotia

SCOTIA — A water main break has closed NYS Route 5 in both directions between Sacandaga Road and Vine Street, 511ny.org is reporting.

Drivers are advised to detour. Traffic from the west should use NYS Route 5 East to Corporation Park to Business Boulevard to Patent Parkway to Burch Parkway to NYS Route 147 (Sacandaga Road). Traffic from the east should use NYS Route 147 to Burch Parkway to Patent Parkway to Business Boulevard to Corporation Park to NYS Route 5.
