The Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s Jazz Bar is jumping and jiving again this year with the summer “Live at the Jazz Bar” series.

“Reinvigorating the Hall of Springs ‘Jazz Bar’ with live music has become one of our new traditions — and now a year-round series,” said Elizabeth Sobol, SPAC’s president and CEO.

On Wednesday, July 18, shortly after the New York City Ballet’s performance, the jazz will begin. Useless Cans, a Capital Region-based trio, will be performing a mix of old-time jazz and Russian tunes. The music goes until midnight and there’s no admission.

Later on this summer, Annie & the Hedonists will be taking the stage at the Jazz Bar, shortly after the Philadelphia Orchestra performs on Aug. 1. The band is known for its interpretation of female blues artists of the 1920s to ’40s.

Then on Aug. 8, after another Philadelphia Orchestra concert, The Global Awareness Quartet with Chuck Lamb will be performing.

Other Live at the Jazz Bar performances include:

  • Joshua Fialkoff and the Odd Fellows on Friday, Aug. 10.
  • The Piggly Wigglies on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
  • Chuck Lamb Quartet on Friday, Aug. 17.
