ROTTERDAM — A 21-year-old man was arrested Monday on felony charges after he fled a Saturday incident with a stolen vehicle, according to a police press release.
Quinn O. Blond, was charged with several felonies, including third-degree robbery, third-degree grand larceny and second-degree assault, according to police. He was also charged with petty larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors.
Police said they responded to a call on Saturday around 10:30 p.m., where a woman had been injured during an argument. Police did not say what the woman’s injuries were.
The suspect in the incident, Blond, stopped the woman from calling 911 by taking away her cellphone and left the residence with her car, according to police.
Blond was later located by the Albany Police Department with the stolen vehicle on Monday at around 11:30 a.m., according to the press release. He was transferred to the Rotterdam Police Department, arraigned and sent to Schenectady County Jail, police said.
It was unclear exactly where Blond was located by Albany police.
