
SCHENECTADY – The man involved in the early Sunday crash that damaged three homes on Michigan Avenue faces multiple traffic tickets as a result, police said.
The overall investigation into the incident is ongoing and further charges could be filed, police spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey McCutcheon said.
Police identified the driver as Kevin Singh, 24, of Schenectady.
Police issued him tickets for speeding, failure to stay in his designated lane and unsafe passing, McCutcheon said.

The crash happened at about 3:50 a.m. Sunday on Michigan Avenue after the driver apparently lost control of his car and struck the homes’ front porches. The car came to rest in front of 383 Michigan Ave., near Schuyler Street.
One home appeared to lose its entire front porch in the crash. A firefighter could be seen tending to the driver at the scene as the driver sat off the sidewalk.
The driver was not seriously injured and no other injuries were reported.
