SCHENECTADY – An early Sunday fire damaged a vacant home on Emmett Street.

Flames were reported at the home shortly after 3 a.m. at the home near Steuben Street. 

Schenectady firefighters responded and extinguished the blaze, but the building appeared severely damaged, specifically its second floor.

No injuries were reported.

Further details on the blaze were not immediately available.
