Joe Paone, averaging 215 entering the week, recorded a match-high 279-1,016 four-game series to pace the Vitalo Classic Saturday night at Sportsman’s Bowl. Paone powered I.D.I.D. to a 5-0 sweep of Wiggly Worm Bait Supply. Perennial power The Zoo kept its hold on first place with a 5-0 sweep of Next Level Detail. Jamie Diamond (298-973), Jay Diamond (268-965) and Mark Ray (267-952) each contributed in a balanced effort for The Zoo. Jake Rivers earned runner-up honors on the card with a 279-994 that carried Sportsman’s Bowl past Sader No. 2 by a 4-1 margin. Other top bowlers included Nick Stricos (247-967), Billy McGaffin Jr. (258-965), Natasha Bidwell (268-960) and Brandon Wolf (267-952) .
