CLIFTON PARK — A late Saturday hit-and-run crash left a pedestrian in serious condition and police searching for the driver, state police said.
The crash happened at about 11:48 p.m. at Crescent and Lapp roads in Clifton Park.
The victim, 21, was struck in a crosswalk and the driver fled the scene eastbound on Crescent, state police said.
The pedestrian was taken to Albany Medical Center in serious, but stable condition, troopers said.

State police initially described the vehicle as a blue or gray Hyundai with extensive front passenger side damage. An investigator later refined that description to a Hyundai Sante Fe, possible model years from 2007 to 2009.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 518-583-7000.
The crash was the second hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian in the area Saturday. Another person was seriously injured about 2:30 a.m. in Schenectady. Police have located that vehicle, but reported no arrests Sunday.
