WILTON — A new computer programming education and training program will begin early next year.
The Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership and Albany Can Code announced the initiative Monday. The front-end web development course will run three hours at a time twice a week from Jan. 29 through April 18 at the SUNY Adirondack Wilton Center, 696 Route 9. Cost is $1,500. An informational session is slated there from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 28.
The course will teach technical skills such as HTML/ CSS and JavaScript, which form the foundation of the modern web. Students also will learn the basics of user interface design and work in teams to build projects for community organizations to get real-world experience.
