CLIFTON PARK — The Clifton Park Planning Board on Tuesday approved a project that will see a three-story self storage building at 7 Synergy Park Drive.
The self storage facility, proposed by MJ Properties, would also have a truck rental company associated with it.
The 54,121-square-foot building will be built on a 9.8-acre parcel. There will be 23 parking spots built for customers, as well as 26 spaces on the site for the rental trucks.
The parcel will be 65.5-percent green space.
Public water and sewer lines for the building will be constructed within Synergy Park Drive, according to project plans.
Maintenance of the road and any private improvements to the site will be conducted through a maintenance agreement.
There will be three trucks on display on each side of the entrance to the site, down from the project’s original proposal for 12 display trucks.
Board members were satisfied with the outcome of the project, noting that the applicant had mitigated their largest concern, which was the higher number of display trucks at the entrance of the site.
Landscaping, including small shrubs, will added to the final site layout.
