Boys' basketball: Saratoga Springs downs Ballston Spa

Saratoga Springs stopped Ballston Spa 63-55 in a Suburban Council game Tuesday. The Blue Streaks scored 24 points from the free throw line in the win.

Michael Rogan led the Blue Streaks in scoring with 17 points.

Marcus Shelton put up 25 points in Colonie’s overtime victory over Averill Park 62-55. Zach Price led the Warriors with 23 points.

Aarpm Satom and Josh Aybar scored 12 and 11 points, respectively, for Raiders.

Michael Ortale finished with 17 points to aid Bethlehem’s victory over Albany 77-48.

Justin Ildefonso scored 30 points in Shenendehowa’s 64-45 win over Columbia. Jack Romer led Columbia in scoring with 13 points.

Garrett Myers led La Salle in scoring with 11 points including three 3-pointers in a 56-24 win over Cohoes in a Colonial Council match-up.

Jimyh Evans also finished in double-digits with 10 points for La Salle, all scored in the second half.

Andrew Tracy produced 23 points to help Cobleskill-Richmondville beat Ichabod Crane 62-45.

Cobleskill-Richmondville’s Steve Maniscalco contributed 11 points. Zach Kennedy and Mike Vecellio both scored 10 points.

Queensbury defeated Broadalbin-Perth 64-47 in a Foothills Council game. It was a balanced scoring effort for Queensbury with Matthew Chase, Bryce Bleibtrey and Sean Collins scoring 16, 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Amsterdam used an 18-9 third quarter to pull away for a 58-49 victory over Hudson Falls.

Jon Beagle scored 22 points to lead Hudson Falls.

Canajoharie edged Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons 82-77 in a Western Athletic Conference game behind a 35-point performance from Luke Van Slyke. Noah Foster and Rodney Parker led the Golden Knights with 23 points each.

Fonda-Fultonville routed Duanesburg 63-34. Fonda’s John Moncini had a team-high 16 points in the winning effort.
