There has been a major debate taking place on the sportstalk shows in Philadelphia the last few days. The hosts have been going back-and-forth. The callers can’t seem to agree.

The Carson Wentz/Nick Foles starting quarterback debate? Nah, that’s secondary.

The big topic of discussion is whether or not Philadelphia native Ken Schott should continue to pick against his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.

I have picked against the Eagles twice in the last three weeks. Maybe they were inspired by me and that’s why they beat the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Rams. When I have picked them to win, like I did against the Dallas Cowboys, they lost.

It’s a tough decision to make this week as the Eagles look to keep their playoff hopes alive when they host the Houston Texans on Sunday.

As for me keeping my hopes alive of defeating Gazette news columnist Sara Foss in our battle, I have waved the white flag. Sara went 9-7 last week to improve to 145-79-2. I was a pitiful 7-9. I’m now 136-86-2. The race is over.
