
SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Nativity scene at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church was found vandalized over the weekend, police said.
Police responded to the 149 Lake Ave. church at about 8:40 a.m. Sunday for a report of criminal mischief to the outside display, police said.
Authorities believe the damage happened overnight Saturday into Sunday. Police did not describe the damage in a release.
“No other similar acts of vandalism have been reported,” a police release reads, “but the public is asked to remain vigilant in reporting behavior they suspect to be suspicious.”
