SCHODACK — A. Duie Pyle has doubled the capacity of its Albany-area service center.
The Pennsylvania-based supply-chain and transportation company said the Route 9 campus in Schodack was expanded by 17 acres, allowing it to increase from 40 to 84 dock doors. About 20 jobs will be added as a result.
“Business levels with our customers in the Albany area and Hudson Valley continue to grow. We needed to grow our infrastructure in order to continue providing the service levels these customers depend upon,” said John Luciani, the company’s chief operating officer of less-than-truckload services.
