
In a 123-121 win Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers, Shenendehowa graduate Kevin Huerter produced the best game of his rookie NBA season with the Atlanta Hawks.
Huerter made a game-tying 3-pointer in the final minute, then had an assist on teammate John Collins’ game-winning basket in the final 10 seconds.

For the game, Huerter produced a career-high 29 points on 11 of 17 shooting.
Huerter made 5 of 8 3s, plus added three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 39 minutes.

A 2016 Shenendehowa graduate, Huerter played two seasons at the University of Maryland before getting selected with the No. 19 pick in this year’s NBA draft.
On the season, Huerter is averaging 8.8 points per game.
