
CLIFTON PARK – A Halfmoon man has been arrested in connection with a Saturday hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian, state police said.
The pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police identified the driver as Jesse M. Labrake, 45. He faces one count each of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors.
The crash happened Saturday at about 12:45 a.m. on Clifton Park Village Road in Clifton Park, state police said. Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of Peddler’s Bar & Bistro for the crash, troopers said.
A vehicle, allegedly driven by Labrake, struck the pedestrian as the pedestrian walked in a grassy area next to the roadway, troopers said. Troopers had earlier sought the public’s assistance in finding the driver.
Troopers arrested Labrake at a Route 236 address just before 5 p.m. Saturday, records show.
Labrake was arraigned and ordered held on $2,500 bail.
