Girls' basketball: Mohonasen edges Ravena

In the Colonial Council, Mohonasen edged Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 57-55 on Tuesday behind Breanna Lott’s 16 points and Jordyn Caldwell’s 14. Ravena’s leading scorers were Grace Engel with 19 points and Sara Hotaling with 12.

Albany Academy defeated Schalmont 48-41 behind Mianna Jackson’s 19 points and Aaliyah Juste’s 18. Schalmont was led by Emily Lenehan’s 15 points and Payton Graber’s 14.

Keira Cohen scored 15 points, and Saniyya Adams had 10 as Holy Names beat Watervliet 51-28. Makayla Milligan scored 13 for Watervliet.

Lansingburgh beat Cohoes 40-29.

In the Suburban Council, Meghan Huerter scored 24 points, and Bella Stuart and Cat Almeida had 10 points each to lead Shenendehowa past Guilderland 78-37.

Ahniysha Jackson dropped 27 points, and Jenna Citone had 16 to lead Albany past Ballston Spa 76-51. Halle Wright and Samantha DeVito scored 12 points each for Ballston Spa.

Kelsey Wood scored 27 points, and EmmaLee Morgan added 10 to lead Averill Park past Troy 70-35. Jenalyse Alarcon scored 10 points for Troy.

Saratoga Springs beat Bethlehem 60-53 behind Catherine Cairns’ 22 points and Kerry Flaherty’s 19. Bethlehem’s leading scorers were Langston Williams with 16 points, Ava LaClair with 13 and Julia Harvey with 12.

Colonie edged Shaker 60-55 behind Aliyah Wright’s 15 points, Ahnalese Pearson’s 14, Macie Trimarchi’s 11 and Kyara Triblet’s 10. Shaker’s high scorers were Sole Carrington with 22 points and Jules DeBeatham with 13.

Alexis Van Vorst scored 31 points to help Columbia beat Schenectady 63-48. Schenectady’s leading scorers were Talia Washington with 17 points, Janessa Jones with 11 and Elizabeth Tchako-Tcuambe with 10.

In the Wasaren League, Berlin defeated Tamarac 75-6 led by Emily Erickson’s 21 points, Syrita Faraj’s 20, and Lizzie Machnick’s 10.

Hoosick Falls defeated Saratoga Central Catholic 49-16, led by Logan Thayne’s 27 points.

Alex Rifenburg scored 11 points to help Hoosic Valley defeat Stillwater 41-23.

Cambridge beat Greenwich 60-33 led by Sophie Phillips’ 18 points, Lilly Phillips’ 16, and Fiona Mooney’s 13. Molly Brophy scored 10 for Greenwich.

In a non-league game, Berlin defeated Tamarac 75-6 led by Emily Erickson’s 21 points, Syrita Faraj’s 20, and Lizzie Machnick’s 10.
