
MONTGOMERY COUNTY — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two burglaries and a series of thefts from cars this week, the department said.
The incidents happened Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in the areas of Hickory Hill and Stone Arabia roads in the town of Palatine, the department wrote on its Facebook page.
Deputies have collected some evidence for processing, but no specific suspect information was available.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the department.
“We also ask that you spread the word, lock your homes, lock your vehicles and do NOT leave any valuables inside your vehicle,” the department wrote.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department this week also announced it had joined Capital Region Crime Stoppers. In addition to tips sent directly to the department, tips can be sent to the crime stoppers hotline at 1-833-ALB-TIPS, at CapitalRegionCrimeStoppers.com or from the organization’s app. Direct tips can be called in to the department’s dispatch center at 518-673-2554 emailed to [email protected], through the county’s site or department’s Facebook page, the department wrote.
