SCHENECTADY – Wondering where the city snow plows are? There’s now a better way than waiting at the window.
The city now has live plow tracking on its web site via TransFinder’s FleetFinder, Mayor Gary McCarthy wrote on Facebook.
Residents can check out the city site and see plow locations in real time. Blue lines show where they’ve been in the previous four hours.
Ten plows appeared out on city streets at 6 p.m. Saturday, about two hours after the snow began.
