SCHENECTADY – A driver unfamiliar with the area turned down a path at Central Park’s Iroquois Lake Wednesday afternoon and got stuck, police said.
The SUV stopped in the snow short of the frozen lake and no one was injured, police said.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. at the park when the driver got lost trying to find Union Street, turned around and ended up there, police spokesmen Sgt. Jeffrey McCutcheon said.
A tow truck was called to pull the SUV free, but no tickets were issued.
