SCHENECTADY – City residents can again track city snow plows as they work to clear the streets of snow.
The city’s site was down for a bit Tuesday afternoon, but was back up just after 5 p.m. The tracker showed the locations of 11 city vehicles.
Residents can check out the city site and see plow locations in real time. Blue lines show where they’ve been in the previous four hours.
Snow continued to increase over the area just before 5 p.m. Tuesday and was expected to continue into the night, the National Weather Service said. A winter weather advisory remained in effect for much of the region Tuesday evening. The advisory estimated 3 to 6 inches.
Fulton County and central and northern Saratoga County were under a winter storm warning. The warning area was expected to get 8 to 14 inches.
