SCHOHARIE — A Cobleskill man was sentenced to state prison last week for a child pornography conviction, Schoharie County District Attorney’s officials said.
Caleb Grippin, 28, was sentenced on one case of promoting a sexual performance by a child and driving while intoxicated, officials said.
Grippin received a total term of 1 to 3 years in state prison, officials said. He will also have to register as a sex offender upon his release.
He was arrested Oct. 19 by Cobleskill police after they received a complaint and obtained a search warrant for Grippin’s electronic devices.
The New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit provided the forensic analysis, officials said.
