
SCHENECTADY – A man was shot and wounded late Sunday afternoon in Schenectady, police said.
The victim, who appeared conscious and alert at the scene, was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment. He was in stable condition Sunday evening, police said. An update on his condition was not immediately available Monday morning.
The shooting happened at about 4:46 p.m. Sunday in the area of Victory Avenue and Grove Street. Officers responded and found the man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.
He was taken via Mohawk Ambulance to Albany Medical Center.
