CORINTH – A Saratoga County man Sunday threatened an EMS crew in Corinth that responded to tend to his wife, state police said.
Joseph C. Golden, 48, of Porter Corners, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, misdemeanors, police said.
State police were called to the scene in Corinth by the EMS crew, who reported Golden began threatening medics as they attempted to treat his wife for a medical issue, troopers said.
Troopers arrived and attempted to speak with Golden, but he continued to be irate and appeared to be intoxicated, state police said.
“When Golden was told that he was under arrest, he grabbed one of the Troopers, and physically resisted being taken into custody,” state police said in a release.
Troopers took him into custody after a brief struggle, police said.
Golden was processed and released to return to court later.
