The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County has announced its list of local business nominees up for recognition at the chamber’s annual award ceremony.
There are five categories in which businesses could be nominated.
Endurance award nominees are member businesses that have been “in good standing” with the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County and have been in operation more than five years, according to a release from the chamber. Those nominees include the Quest for Grace Foundation, West End Bagels, the Saratoga County Fair and Mother Teresa Academy.
Inspiration award nominees have been in business for at least three years, and represent “a source of inspiration and exhibit a culture of excellence in small business ownership,” according to the chamber. Those nominees are the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition, Hedley & Co., PLLC Certified Public Accountants and Brand-News-Team.
Strong Community nominees actively contribute to the strength and wellness of the local community. Those nominees are Saratoga National Bank, Orangetheory Fitness Clifton Park, Hudson Crossing Park, the Town of Clifton Park, Stewarts, Ballston Spa National Bank, the Southern Saratoga YMCA and the Saratoga County Historical Society at Brookside Museum.
Entrepreneurial Success nominees are small business members have exhibited a talent and passion that has resulted in outstanding success. Those nominees are the Iron Roost, Priority One Payroll and Clark’s Steakhouse.
Innovation award nominees have demonstrated how innovation will improve the business climate or quality of life in the region. These nominees have either communicated or provided training for a new idea, method or device and have facilitated change in the Tech Valley region. Those nominees are West Mountain Ski Resort, Death Wish Coffee and Superior Co-op HVAC.
