RICHMONDVILLE – A Richmondville man damaged a home Friday after internet service was interrupted, state police said.
State police responded to the residence shortly before 10 p.m. for a report of a dispute, troopers said.
Troopers arrived at the Holmes Street residence and spoke with the property owner, who told them David M. Moon, 30, of Richmondville, “had become irate when the home’s internet service was interrupted, and caused damage to the home’s interior,” state police said in a release.
Troopers charged Moon with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanors. He was arraigned and released to return to court later.
