WASHINGTON COUNTY – State police are asking for the public’s help in finding an ATV that is believed to have fallen off a trailer in transport, then may have been taken from the side of the road.
Troopers Tuesday released a photo of the vehicle and a description of where it might have fallen from the trailer and asked for anyone with information to contact investigators.
The red 2013 Kawasaki ATV was last seen March 9 on Petteys Road in the Town of Cambridge, Washington County. It is believed to have fallen off its trailer as it was being transported to the Town of Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County, state police said.
The owner traveled south on Master Street to Route 67, then to Route 40, state police said. Checks of the route did not uncover the ATV, leading investigators to believe it fell and someone took it.
Anyone with information is asked to contact state police in Brunswick at 518-279-4427.
