SCHENECTADY — Lifestyle retailer Beekman 1802 will move its annual warehouse sale from its birthplace in Sharon Springs to the site of its new headquarters in Schenectady.

The May 3-5 event will be the third such sale. Previous editions have drawn crowds in Sharon Springs.

Beekman 1802 announced Tuesday that the sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 3, 4 and 5 on the ground floor of 220 Harborside Drive, the same building in Mohawk Harbor where its headquarters is located. Food trucks and local vendors will be outside, under tents in case there is rain.

The annual event features discounts of up to 75 percent on gifts, beauty products and other items from Beekman’s retail store, website and Home Shopping Network catalog.

Local groups including Schenectady County, Discover Schenectady, the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation, the Galesi Group, Rivers Casino & Resort and CDTA are helping coordinate the event.
