Federal, state investigators search Fultonville logistics firm

FULTONVILLE  — A search warrant was executed by state and federal investigators March 29 at the location of DAIM Logistics in the Glen Canal View Business Park.

Ben DeLaMater, a public information officers for the state Department of Environmental Conservation, said investigators with the Bureau of Environmental Crimes Investigation (BECI) unit and special agents with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) conducted a search of DAIM’s 128 Park Drive location March 29 as part of a joint investigation by the DEC and EPA.

“The investigation is still underway and no further information is available at this time,” DeLaMater stated. 

According to the company’s website, DAIM Logistics provides third-party logistics and warehousing services to freight carrying companies in 48 states, with a particular focus on the consumer goods and raw materials sectors. 

DAIM is owned by brothers Chris Oare and Pat Oare. 

Chris Oare said his company has no comment about the DEC and EPA investigation. He said the matter is being handled by the company’s legal counsel.
