BALLSTON SPA – A Schenectady man injured a Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputy at the Sheriff’s Office Monday, sheriff’s officials said.
Sequan Fasion, 24, was charged with one count of second-degree assault, a felony, and misdemeanor resisting arrest.
Fasion was at Sheriff’s Office on an unrelated matter Monday when he “became enraged and assaulted a Sheriff’s Deputy in the Sheriff’s Office lobby,” a sheriff’s release reads.
He is then accused of resisting deputies attempting to take him into custody, officials said. The release did not describe the injuries to the deputy.
