Police: Clifton Park man causes $1,500 in hotel room damages

CLIFTON PARK — A Clifton Park man was arrested after allegedly causing hundreds of dollars of damage to a hotel room on Route 9, according to the New York State Police.

David D. Moshier, 22, was arrested on April 10 by state police after an investigation revealed that Moshier had rented a room at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites on Route 9 that had been damaged, police said.

Police were notified of the damage on April 2. Moshier had rented the room for the previous evening, but had since left the area. When staff entered the room in the morning they found damages that totaled more than $1,500, police said. 

Moshier was arrested after being interviewed by police. He was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony.
 
Moshier was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Clifton Park Town Court on April 17.
