SCHENECTADY – A motorcyclist was injured in a Monday night crash involving a car on Union Street in Schenectady, police said.
Police described the injuries as minor. The motorcyclist was taken to Ellis Hospital to get checked out, policed spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey McCutcheon said.
The crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. on Union, at Garner Avenue. A motorcycle, ridden by Tyler Herbst, 25, of Schenectady, was headed west when a vehicle headed east, driven by Racquel Adams, 31, of Schenectady, turned onto Garner and into the motorcyclist’s path, McCutcheon said.
Police investigated and cited Adams for failure to yield the right of way.
