Schenectady City School District voters on Monday night will have a chance to hear from the six candidates running for three school board seats later this month at a candidate forum hosted by the League of Women Voters.
The forum will be held at 7 p.m. in the Schenectady Room on the second floor of Mont Pleasant Middle School and hosted by the Schenectady County chapter of the league.
All six candidates — incumbents Cathy Lewis and Ann Reilly and Craig Brewer, Veronica Cochrane, Princella Learry and Gary Chestnut — were invited to participate in the forum, according to the League of Women Voters. Audience members will have a chance to submit questions to be asked of the candidates.
The school board election will be held May 21.
