HALFMOON — Halfmoon will soon be home to a shop that sells organic tea and health shakes.
Ideal Nutrition, a tea and shake shop, will move into a 900-square-foot retail space at 1603 Route 9 in the Towne Center Plaza formerly occupied by Mattress by Appointment.
Ideal Nutrition specializes in organic nutritional teas and shakes. Approved plans call for hours of operation Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6.p.m and on Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with two full-time employees.
Ideal Nutrition does not plan on putting up a sign that would require Planning Board approval at this time. If the company does decide to create a sign, it must seek board approval.
Ideal Nutrition did not respond to a request for comment on the new store. It is unclear when the business will begin operations.
