Try this: The Tree Hugger is a perennial favorite, containing fresh spinach, basil pesto, tomatoes, garlic and onions nestled in mozzarella. The menu also has gluten-free options, including cauliflower pizza crust.

Customer feedback: “This is an accommodating and refreshing place to be,” said Bill Bakui, a regular visitor from the Hudson Valley. “They grow with the culture, and it is a beautiful thing — it’s not just another pizza place.”

Takeout notes: The Breakfast Spot is the process of introducing an express takeout line in the kitchen to expedite orders for guests on the go. “We focus on productivity and getting people in and out as fast as possible,” said president Gregory Dyer.

Biscotti Brothers Cafe

Newcomer on Lake George dining scene aims to blend quality diverse menu with a comfortable setting.

Customer feedback: “This is one of my favorite breakfast spots,” said Ed Boyle of Queensbury, hailing the pancakes and omelets.

Sushi Yoshi

Long-time staple brings East Asian cuisine to Adirondacks with a comprehensive menu.

Customer feedback: “This place is awesome — I’ve been coming here for years,” said Nina Welsh of Willsboro, NY. “The food is so fresh.” 

Takeout notes: All items are available for take-out and delivery except hibachi. Hot and cold items are packed separately. Delivery is also available beginning at 5 p.m.

Customer feedback: “The breakfast is delicious, reasonable and the staff is always super nice. The egg sandwiches are one of the best my family and I have gotten,” said JodyGirlNewYork via TripAdvisor. “We all loved it. Definitely a great spot!”

Customer feedback: Outgoing Lake George High School seniors Cooper Collins, Joy Greene and Nicole Kingsley called the downtown venue an “iconic” gathering place for students. “It’s a Sunday ritual place,” said Greene.

Try this: Hand-cut fries, Philly cheesesteak, sausage and peppers and hamburgers. “The best part is you can walk next door and get ice cream,” said Matthew Brown, director of grill operations. 

Customer feedback: “The ice cream is great. The food is really high quality — it’s top of the line,” said Dennis Gumuka of Lake George. 

Takeout notes: Customers can download “The Grill at Martha’s” app to their smartphones to place orders with the option of including a designated pick-up time. Food will be prepared 10 minutes beforehand. Orders can also be placed by phone.

Try this: Bacon cheeseburger, which the chain invented in 1963. “Our speciality is extremely good food. We’ve got everything you can imagine,” said owner Dave Madden.

Customer feedback: “The service is good, the food is good,” said Bill Solek of Ballston Lake. “Classic burgers, a glass of root beer — old-school.”

Takeout notes: While more known as dine-in destination — visitors to Lake George can enjoy the unique ambiance, which includes a DeLorean identical to the model popularized by “Back to the Future” — takeout is available.

Try this: Ribs, pulled pork and barbecue platters are top-sellers. “Our sauce is homemade and we smoke everything here,” said front-end staff member Kristine Lufkin.

Customer feedback: “Visited the Barnsider tonight and was rewarded with a great meal that stuffed us. We had BBQ pork on a pretzel roll and catfish filets with a side of BBQ brisket. Sweet potato fries were excellent. The food was plentiful and the price was good. Will definitely come back,” said Bob06201128 via TripAdvisor.

Takeout notes: Diners can order online through the ChowNow app. For quick in-and-out vehicle access, Barnsliders also has a dedicated pick-up lane in front of the building.
