WARRENSBURG — A Warrensburg man driving with a blood alcohol content four times the legal limit swerved into the path of a state trooper last week, state police said.
The trooper avoided the collision and soon pulled the man over, state police said. The trooper also found the man with a blood alcohol content of 0.32, four times the limit of 0.08, troopers said.
Frederick D. Presley, 42, of Warrensburg, was charged with one count of aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
The incident occurred last Tuesday in the Town of Warrensburg on Diamond Point Road, state police said. Troopers on patrol were headed east when Presley, headed west, swerved into the path of the trooper car.
The troopers then turned around and pulled Presley over. Presley admitted to consuming alcohol and failed field sobriety tests. He later tested at the 0.32 BAC, troopers said.
Presley was released to appear in court on a later date.
