QUEENSBURY – Two North Country men were arrested this week, accused of possessing 116 pounds of marijuana after a traffic stop on the Northway, state police said.
The traffic stop happened just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, near Exit 19 southbound, state police said.
Inside the car, troopers found the marijuana, as well as two individuals, Margaret Arquette and Eric Allen, both 29, of Hogansburg, Franklin County.
Troopers charged both Arquette and Allen with one count each of first-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fourth-degree conspiracy, both felonies.
The two were held pending arraignment.
