BROADALBIN – Fulton County Sheriff’s officials are investigating an alleged “home invasion” at a home in Broadalbin early Sunday, officials said.
Officials later indicated they believe the incident to have been isolated and targeted to the residence.
The incident happened just after 6 a.m. at a residence on North Main Street in the Village of Broadalbin, officials said.
Officials did not provide a detailed description of what allegedly happened inside, including whether there were any injuries. However, officials said a grey Nissan Rogue with Florida plates was allegedly involved. Three men departed the residence in the vehicle, officials said.
Officials also indicated later that they believe the victim and suspects had a previous connection and that the victim has been uncooperative.
“We are asking that anyone in the Village with security cameras please review them for either the vehicle or the 3 males. Between 5:30 am and 6:30 am is the time frame,” officials wrote on Facebook.
Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 518-736-2100.
The state police and Fulton County District Attorney’s Office are assisting.
