The Outlaw Music Festival featuring Willie Nelson & Family, Bonnie Raitt, Phil Lesh & Friends, Alison Krauss and Brothers Osborne will go on as scheduled on Sept. 7 at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, it was announced by LiveNation.

Country icon Nelson announced Wednesday that he will not perform on the remainder of the tour to deal with a breathing problem.

Nelson, 86, announced the news in a tweet Wednesday night.

“I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out,” he wrote. “I’ll be back.”

The tour had 30 concerts remaining on it when Nelson announced the cancellation, including SPAC and the Darien Center (Genesee County), as well as a show in Forest Hill, Queens.

He had been slated to wrap up the tour on Nov. 29 at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla.

Wednesday’s cancellation announcement came shortly after Nelson performed in Toledo, Ohio.

Nelson also canceled concerts in 2017 due to an illness, and in 2018 to address respiratory concerns. He stopped a Salt Lake City show early in 2017 as well after struggling with the high altitude.
