JOHNSTOWN – A Gloversville man has been arrested, accused of burglarizing Johnstown’s Udderly Delicious ice cream stand, police said.

Crabbe is accused of breaking into the popular Route 30A establishment at about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 6, police said.

The arrest came days after the ice cream shop posted surveillance video of the suspect on its Facebook page and offered a $1,000 reward in the case.

The video showed the suspect in a hooded sweatshirt and gloves slip in with a backpack through the serving window and take items from under the register.

Police said they had Crabbe identified and a warrant for his arrest by Friday. They then found him and arrested him late Saturday morning.
