ALBANY — Syracuse-based healthy-fast-casual restaurant chain CoreLife Eatery will cut the ribbon on its third Capital Region location on Thursday.

The new CoreLife at 1228 Western Ave. sits at the entrance to the University at Albany, which the company hopes will provide a customer base. It joins existing locations in nearby Latham and Clifton Park, elsewhere in New York, and in five other states.

CoreLife promotes itself as a convenient source of meals made on site with unprocessed organic ingredients.
