MOREAU — The swimming beach at Moreau Lake State Park has reopened after a harmful algal bloom subsided and water quality tests have come back clear.
A potential harmful blue-green bloom on the lake was first reported to the state Department of Environmental Conservation last Friday.
Visitors and their pets should refrain from swimming in other areas of the lake.
