PRINCETOWN – A Niskayuna woman arrested last month in connection with a series of burglaries that took place in Glenville has now been charged with a July Princetown break-in, state police said.
In the new case, she also has a co-defendant.
State police this past week charged Lauren H. Temple, 38, of Niskayuna, and Shaheem R. Jones, 33, of Schenectady, with second-degree burglary, a felony.
They are accused of breaking into the Princetown residence July 15 and taking more than $1,100 worth of electronics, state police said.
Investigators zeroed in on Temple and Jones after they were linked to a vehicle stolen during a burglary in Glenville, state police said.
Investigators won search warrants for a residence in Niskayuna and one in Green Island and found stolen property at each location, state police said.
Temple was charged last month in connection with the series of June Glenville burglaries, Glenville police said earlier.
Police said then she was believed to have committed “numerous” daytime burglaries at homes in Glenville June 29 and June 30. Police later found some of the burglary proceeds in Niskayuna.
Glenville Police were assisted in their case by state police Special Investigations Unit and Niskayuna Police.
