CLIFTON PARK – A Schenectady contractor took a job in Clifton Park and never intended to complete the work, state police said.
Now the man, Michael Church, 59, faces one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, troopers said.
State police arrested Church Thursday in Clifton Park. He agreed to perform a construction job at a Clifton Park residence, but took the money without intending to actually complete the work, state police allege.
Church was released to appear in court later.
