MAYFIELD — A Mayfield contractor has been charged for allegedly accepting $1,200 from a Saratoga County customer to repair outbuildings, but failing to perform the work, state police said Monday.
Aaron P. Penley, owner of ADK Custom Paint, was arrested Friday and charged with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Penley is accused of accepting the down payment for repairs to be done in Greenfield, but then failing to perform any of the work.
Penley was released to appear in court later.
