
GLENVILLE – A Saratoga Springs man has been arrested, accused of raping a woman in woods in East Glenville, police said.

Jonathon P. Stewart, 20, of Majorie Drive, was charged last week with one count each of first-degree rape and first-degree unlawful imprisonment, felonies.
The investigation began after the woman came forward and told police she was raped in a vehicle driven to a wooded area in East Glenville Sept. 27, police said.
Police investigated and arrested Stewart last Wednesday, police said.
Stewart also faces one misdemeanor count of criminal obstruction of breathing, police said.
Glenville police were assisted by investigators from the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Stewart was arraigned and ordered held without bail. He is due back in court this week.
