A Sand Lake man camping last weekend at the Lake George Escape Campground has been charged with a misdemeanor count of assault.
State police said Joseph E. Teal, 37, was arrested Friday.
Troopers alleged Teal punched a man in the face. Teal and the victim, police said, had a dispute regarding the victim’s adherence to the campground speed limit of 5 mph.
The victim, who was not identified, was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Teal was issued a ticket to appear in Lake George Town Court on Thursday.
